Sacrifice over Selfishness

This quote reminds us that all Great Achievement is driven by Sacrifice and not by Selfishness. It is often very hard to remember but the challenges we face within ourselves always result from our own actions. We are only in possession of frustration because we are “ALIVE" to feel it. As Dr. Wayne Dyer so often taught ....If we were to die tomorrow, any angst, fear or frustrations would certainly die along with us. So how do we keep from creating the frustration to begin with? We look at our motivations behind the actions that led us to our frustrations. We were all created as beings who love to give to others. In truth both of these words (Loving, Giving) are actually the same thing but what helps us create greatness and find  happiness? .....

Understanding these two words and the way they act within each other and within our choices every time we speak or interact with someone else we are choosing to operate from either Love or from Selfishness. Loving is Giving and yet the opposite is also a true statement. When we stay true to loving the world and those in our world they and it will remain open to us and who we are. It creates such a high and overwhelming feeling of gratitude when we love others and feel loved by others. But if we lose our way…...if only for a moment…..and we slip towards selfishness it all fades in an instant. Selfishness is built in protecting, taking, defending and none of these characteristics will allow us to remain vulnerable. Without choosing vulnerability we cannot experience true love because we are more concerned with protecting "Self" (selfishness).

There are many forms of “loving” like loving BUT only as long as I get what I need…..or loving BUT only as long as it does not hurt too much….or loving BUT only as long as I do not feel too much at risk. Each of these statements allows us to feel a little bit of the joy that comes with loving but the selfish side of each of these statements always creates frustration because we chose to keep our fears alive and remain guarded.

We are all in need of being loved and in need of loving others so do whatever it takes today to correct the wrongs of your selfishness. If you stop and think for no more than 30 seconds you will know something you need to do or someone you need to speak with to create new giving and this will lead you closer to your happiness. Work really hard to let others know that you care more for them than you care for protecting yourself. We all make mistakes in this arena, sometimes really HUGE mistakes but knowing what matters most is what leads us away from frustration.

Do not let this day go by without making at least one more step in taking responsibility for your selfishness. If you wait it prolongs your challenge with receiving what you deserve. If you take action to do the right thing it will diminish your frustrations and allow you to receive the love you need and want. It will also remedy the challenges you may now be feeling from your selfishness.

Great passage from the bible to examine love…….Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.

Its not that bad

If you are thinking you are having a rough time right now, remember someone else always has it tougher! Shift your thoughts to what you appreciate right now in your life. Focus on gratitude and know that whatever we place our attention on expands in our thoughts and actions. Frustration breeds frustration but GRATITUDE multiplies to more gratitude 😏

Making Decisions without fear

An interesting man who never truly adapted to society but rather made society and all who knew him bend to his will. His intentions were always very obvious and if he felt fear, which I'm sure he did, he never let it sway his decisions, determinations or his courses of action. Realize that fear is only perception and when you choose to see things differently things will take any shape you choose! #knowthyself #selfreflection #financialfreedom #leadership

Photo post of the day... I saw this meme the other day and I had just noticed someone on my friends on Facebook had "de-friended" me. The number of friends I had was one less than it had been just a few days before. It made me think of a guy who has a mission he often declares on Facebook followers to "de-friend" him and make room for people better suited for his life, ideals and beliefs. I have been friends with him for several years and I watch as he rants and raves on health issues, life issues & government issues etc.. he has STRONG opinions and he has decided that to speak and be a force is more important than to please those around him. On a personal account Facebook limits your friends to "5000" and he regularly has 5000 then 4998, then 4999 and then back to 5000. He hovers but you see losses of certain people regularly only to be filled back up within a few days. I have remained friends with him on Facebook because I agree with the majority of his positions and his intentions to affect world change! I recently realized what I agree with the most is our personal responsibility in cultivating the right people who are suited to help us find our own destiny in this life. The longer we spend placating the people in our current existence is the same time we are blocking those who could help us reach our truest destinies sooner if we only could make a little more room, create more bandwidth, have more people in your life who support the truest version of who you are. I have decided to post my ideas, my opinions, my life events and my beliefs on a regular basis over the next year and I hope my thoughts and experiences are enjoyed ;) but mostly I hope to lose a few more followers in this life who are not really feeding me and replace them with some incredible people who are waiting to be there! Think about it! 😗 #duggsblog.com #amission4change #knowthyself #knowthyselfworth #fam #mastermind #namaste

Join the Party

Photo Post of the day......Life is "taught" to almost every person as full of limits. As we make our way through growing up and
"adulting" it is chocked full of rules, regulations and expectations often created by society, family, work, necessities. I see nothing wrong with rules, regulations and expectations as long as they were created by you, for you and you never impose them on others around you. Our truest life's work is to find our own way in life not the way others tell us to live nor by telling others how to live. It is your job, your relationships, your playtime. Live YOUR LIFE to the fullest and encourage others to do the same.

Don't Settle

This reminds me to not be the ordinary, average wanna be image hound. Be original and see how many others you can inspire to break the mold. What we have in the world needs fresh change but that will not happen by everyone reinforcing the copycat mentality. Overcome fears and become real. Remember most people die at 27 it just takes 50 years before we bury them ↢😢

Quit playing it safe

The first of the lower level chakras is safety; All of the higher level energies (love, perception, knowledge and enlightenment) are only possible if we can move past the lower ones. (Safety, desire, control) Maslow is addressing the beginning of that work with this quote ...
